Tried to find my way back home
But I can’t see the path in my memory
What can I do?
This is a new beginning
This is a new beginning
Tried to find my way back home
But I can’t see the path in my memory
What can I do?
This is a new beginning
This is a new beginning
I see these shadows running behind me
I’ve lost control of my body
Feeling empty
My body encased with metal
With chains that lock me down
Lock me down
I tried to escape
But there’s only blood
We’re mobilised by systems
I tried to escape
But there’s only blood
We’re mobilised by systems
The end of man has come and no one can escape this judgement
Machines will take control of this planet to repair the damage
The time has come
The cleansing has begun
Sit back and enjoy the view
This is what we get
What we brought upon ourselves
When the screaming stops and the smoke has cleared
They all will see that the message is clear
We are the disease
We are the disease
Broken down
Broken down
I tried to escape
But there’s only blood
We’re mobilised by systems
I tried to escape
But theres only blood
We’re mobilised by systems
Bodies locked down with shackles
Debris fall over with flesh and blood
My heart is sunk and broken
Deep down to the very bottom
This is a disease
This is a disease
This is the type of music we need more of. The soundscape is technically complex but remains minimal/ambient so you are still "transported" to the world Roopam creates with this composition. This, along with all of Roopam's tracks, deserve more attention. What a gem this artist is and I'm glad I stumbled across them! :D Erkadur
I love the creativity in all of your compositions Roopam! I wish more artists would take inspiration from you and utilize harmonics more as they create such a unique soundscape. Thank you for sharing these tracks with the world so I can cherish them throughout my whole life. <3 Erkadur

What a gem of a track from Roopam! This is the type of music that takes you on an epic journey and somehow packs the adventure into only a few minutes of time. This features Roopam's signature use of harmonics and fast rhythms/arpeggios/chordal outlining to create a unique "world" or soundscape. This track is no exception; thank you for blessing us with such great music, Roopam! Hopefully one day more will come to know of your compositions. I will be sure to cherish these tracks forever. <3 Erkadur
